About PolicyRuler

Bag rules are scattered across hundreds of airline and venue pages, written differently, and changed without notice. PolicyRuler puts them side by side so you can answer one question quickly: is my bag allowed?

What we cover

• Carry-on, personal item and checked bag rules for 23 airlines, compared side by side.
• Bag policies for 36 stadiums, arenas and parks, including clear-bag and clutch limits.
• A bag checker that tests your bag against every airline at once.

Where the numbers come from

Every figure is taken from the airline's or venue's own website, and each page links to its source and shows when we last checked it. An automated check re-reads those pages every week and flags changes for review. When an airline's own pages disagree with each other, we say so. Read more in how we verify.

Not affiliated

PolicyRuler is independent and isn't affiliated with any airline or venue. Rules can change and can differ by fare, route or event, so confirm with the airline or venue before you go.
