How we verify

Every size, weight and fee on PolicyRuler comes from the airline's own website. We record the exact page, the date we checked it and how we read it, and we show that date on every page.

Weekly change checks

Each week an automated check re-reads every official page we cite and compares only the sentences that state sizes, weights and prices. When one changes, a person reviews it and updates our data before the page shows a new "last verified" date.

When an airline contradicts itself

Airlines sometimes leave old figures on a help page after changing a fee. When their pages disagree, we show the figure from the most specific, most recently updated page and flag the contradiction with a link to both sources.

Metric sizes

Airlines publish limits in inches. Centimetres here are our conversions, marked with "≈", because airlines round their own metric figures differently.
